My mom and I ventured into the world of fashion over the last century as we went to the high tea and fashion show at our church. Surrounded by a number of southern ladies who came in their best hats, it was definitely an experience paired with some great laughter. There were beautiful tea sets filled with the aromas of delicious teas and delicately decorated sugar cubes, but my prized possession is the vintage candy jar that I got at the auction. I absolutely loved the vibrant orange color and the uniquely shaped lid, however I am most excited to put it in my new Houston home and keep it sufficiently stocked for visitors.
